Operation of the Fellowship
A slate of nominations for Committee Chairs and Board members is
developed each spring. Elections are held in June at our Annual
General Meeting. Everyone involved in the life of the Fellowship
is encouraged to consider committee and board service.
Committees deal with various aspects of our congregation,
including Religious Education, Publicity, Sunday Services,
Fundraising and Social Action. The Chairpersons of committees
actively seek the aid of other members to help carry out their
responsibilities. Committee chairs meet regularly with their
board representatives.
The Board of Directors of the Fellowship consists of the
President, Past President, three Vice-Presidents and three
Associate Vice-Presidents. (The Minister serves ex-officio). The
Vice Presidents/Associates serve as a team, and each has
responsibility for and serves as a liaison with several
committees. Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of
each month, beginning at 7:30 pm, and are open to any member of
the congregation. Board agenda are posted the Sunday before the
Board meeting and Board minutes are available in the office of
the fellowship. These are also distributed to the Board and
Committee Chairs.
Copies of our By-Laws, which spell out the responsibilities of
Committee Chairs and Board members are available in the
Fellowship Office.
